AR Glossary
If you are new to Augmented Reality, here are some common terms used within Vizaro.
AR (Augmented Reality)
Overlaying digital content onto the real world through the camera.
Markerless AR
AR that anchors 3D objects onto detected surfaces like floors, tables, or walls (or in mid-air).
Image Tracking (Marker-based)
AR that triggers when a specific printed/digital image (the "marker") is recognized by the camera.
Face Tracking
Detecting a user’s face to attach 3D objects or visual elements (filters).
3D Model
A digital object, typically in GLB or GLTF format, used in the AR scene.
Around or 360°
A fully immersive virtual environment that surrounds the user.
CTA (Call-to-Action)
A button linking to external websites, stores, or next steps.
Lead Capture Form
A form used to collect user details (e.g., Name, Email, Phone).
End Screen
The final screen displayed after an experience, showing offers, discounts, or CTAs.
