Text Elements

Text elements can be added to your AR scene to display labels, product names, short instructions, or descriptive notes. These elements exist inside the 3D scene and move with your AR objects.

1. Adding Text

  1. In the left panel, click Text.

  2. A default text element will appear in the AR scene.

  3. Drag the text to where you want it.

2. Editing Appearance

Select the text element and use the Right-Side Properties Panel to adjust:

  • Text Content: Type your message.

  • Color: Choose a color that contrasts well with the background.

  • Opacity: Adjust transparency.

Tip: Choose high contrast colors (e.g., white text on darker objects) so text remains readable in various real-world environments.

3. Positioning Text

You can move, rotate, and scale text just like a 3D model using the Transform Tools (Move ⬆️, Rotate 🔄, Scale ⬍) or the numerical inputs in the right panel.

Best Practices

  1. Keep it Short: Use 1–3 words (e.g., "Tap Me", "50% Off"). Long sentences are hard to read in AR.

  2. Placement: Keep text slightly above or beside objects to prevent visual overlap.

  3. Test: Always preview on a mobile device to check readability.
