AR Quest Game
(Search & Find / Treasure Hunt)
The AR Quest is an immersive "Search and Find" game. Instead of catching falling items, users must physically turn around with their phone (360°) to find virtual objects hidden in the space around them.
Best For: In-store treasure hunts, exploring event venues, and educational trails.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Start a New Project
From your Dashboard, click New Project.
Name your project & click Continue.
Select Quest Game from the options.

2. The Quest Editor Interface
The editor combines a spatial view with game controls:
The Wireframe Sphere: You will see a large grid sphere. This represents the user's real-world surroundings. The human avatar in the center represents the player.
Game Settings (Right Panel): This is where you manage the hidden objects (collectibles) users need to find.

3. Managing Hidden Objects ("Elements")
Your goal is to define what the user is looking for.
Locate Game Settings: Look at the Right Panel under Game Settings. You will see a list of Elements (Element 1, Element 2, etc.).
Customize the Items:
Click Change Asset next to an element.
Select a 3D model or image from your library (e.g., a treasure chest, a product bottle, or a mascot).
The placeholder icon in the scene will update to your selected asset.
Add More Items: Click + Add Element at the bottom of the list to create more hidden objects to populate the scene.

4. Setting the Game Timer
Since this is a time-attack game, you must define how long the player has to score points.
Go to the Left Toolbar and click the Settings (Gear Icon) button.
Adjust Duration: Look for the Timer setting.
Select the time in seconds from the dropdown (e.g., 30 seconds or 60 seconds).
This timer will countdown on the user's screen during gameplay.

5. Game Logic & Interaction
Goal: The user must find and tap on these items to "collect" them within the time limit.
6. Preview & Test
Click Preview and scan the QR code.
Physical Test: Stand up and turn around with your phone.
Are the items visible?
Do the items face the user correctly? (Use the Rotate tool in the editor if an object is facing sideways).
When the layout feels right, click Publish.
✅ Your AR Quest Campaign is now ready.
