Rise & Burst Game

(Reaction Challenge / Pop-to-Win)

The Rise & Burst game is a fast-paced reaction challenge. Instead of searching for hidden items, objects (bubbles, balloons, or products) float upward from the bottom of the screen. The user must tap them quickly to "burst" them and score points before time runs out.

Best For: High-energy engagement, reflex challenges, and "pop-to-win" promotions.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Start a New Project

  1. From your Dashboard, click New Project.

  2. Name your project & click Continue.

2. The Rise & Burst Editor Interface

This template uses the same 3D Sphere environment as the Quest game, representing the user's surrounding space.

  • The Wireframe Sphere: Represents the game zone. In this mode, this is the area where objects will float upward.

  • Game Settings (Right Panel): Used to manage the visual assets (the objects that will rise).

3. Managing the Rising Objects

You need to define what objects will appear and float up during the game.

  1. Locate Game Settings: Look at the Right Panel. You will see the list of Elements (Element 1, Element 2, etc.).

  2. Choose Your "Bubbles":

    • Click Change Asset next to an element.

    • Select the image or 3D model you want to use (e.g., a bubble with a discount code inside, a balloon, or a product bottle).

Tip: You can assign different images to Element 1, 2, and 3 to have a variety of floating objects appearing at random.

4. Setting the Game Timer

Since this is a time-attack game, you must define how long the player has to score points.

  1. Go to the Left Toolbar and click the Settings (Gear Icon) button.

  2. Adjust Duration: Look for the Timer setting.

  3. Select the time in seconds from the dropdown (e.g., 30 seconds or 60 seconds).

    • This timer will countdown on the user's screen during gameplay.

5. Gameplay Logic

  • Spawn: The elements you added in the Right Panel will randomly spawn at the bottom of the user's view and float upward.

  • Interaction: The user must tap the objects before they float out of view or reach the top.

  • Scoring: Each successful tap "bursts" the object and adds to the user's score.

6. Preview & Test

  1. Click Preview and scan the QR code.

  2. Check the Physics:

    • Do the objects rise at a good speed? (Not too fast to catch, not too slow to be boring).

    • Is the time limit achievable?

  3. When satisfied, click Publish.

Your Rise & Burst Game is now ready.
