Face Try-On Campaign
(AR Face Filters & Virtual Try-Ons)
The Face Filter / Try-On template lets users try virtual effects directly on their face using their device camera. This works entirely in the mobile browser — no app download required.
Best For:
Makeup try-on (Lipstick, eye shadow, blush, eyeliner)
Costume filters (Masks, special effects, face paint)
Accessories (Glasses, hats, headpieces)
Character / Theme-based campaigns
The Face Editor Interface
When you open this template, you will see:
A 3D Face Preview: A model in the center of the editor to visualize the effect.
Face Settings Panel: Located on the right, this controls which texture is applied to the face.
How It Works
Vizaro applies a texture (image) on top of the user’s detected face. You can use ready-made textures provided by Vizaro or upload your own custom assets designed in tools like Photoshop.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Choosing a Texture
On the Right Panel, under Face Settings, look for Face Texture. Click the dropdown to choose from ready-made filter styles such as:
Eye Shadow
Super Hero Mask
Lipstick
Vendetta Filter
Face Paint Patterns
2. Uploading Your Own Texture
To create a custom makeup look or branded mask:
Go to Face Settings → Face Texture.
Select Custom Image.
Click Add Texture File.
Upload your PNG file (preferably with a transparent background).
Tip for Designers: To ensure your makeup aligns correctly with natural features (lips, eyes), download the base reference file.
Click Download Texture in the panel.
Use this guide in Photoshop/Figma to design your makeup layer.
Export as a transparent PNG and upload it back to Vizaro.
3. Adjusting the Look
Once your texture is applied, you can fine-tune it using the Element Settings in the right panel:
Opacity Slider: Reduce opacity for a more natural blend (essential for makeup).
Color Overlay: Tint the texture if needed without changing the source file.
4. Adding UI Elements
Just like other templates, you can add interface elements from the Left Toolbar:
Text: Add campaign messages, instructions, or product names.
Buttons: Add "Shop Now", "Learn More", or "Try Another Look" buttons.
Advanced Screens: Add Intro, Lead Capture, or End Screens.
5. Preview & Publish
Click Preview in the top toolbar.
Open the link on a mobile device.
The camera will activate, and the filter will automatically track to your face.
Best Practices
Makeup Try-on
Use soft-edged PNGs and lower opacity for a natural blend.
Fun Themes
Use higher contrast, graphic textures (masks, face paint).
Branding
Add Intro + End Screens for messaging & CTAs.
Lead Gen
Place a lead form before the experience to capture user data first, or after as a reward.
